Need a lineman to clear the way?

In fact, whatever your football recruiting need, the state of Alabama should have plenty to offer again next year.

Andrew Bone of Fox Sports/ Scout gives us an early glimpse into a deep Class of 2013, headed by two big-name early commit­ments.

"O.J. Howard and Dee Liner are a cut above the others in this class at this point," said Bone, whose list will swell after conducting four South Showcase com­bines in the next six weeks.

Howard, a tight end from Prattville, heads the list. He's an early Alabama ver­bal.

"Howard showcased his skills at the Under Armour combine in early January and blew away all the players at the event with his size, athleticism and speed," Bone said.
