I am really looking forward to see what these newcomers on d-fense do, specifically to make their way into the linebacker and d-line rotation will mean they have made impressions to do so, the secondary obviously is a little more wide open. Yeldon and Hart with that speed along with Lacy (speed and power) and Fowler (beast mode power) may be the deepest running back rotation in college football...wow that sounds good after losing one of the best that will ever put on the crimson

Marlin...I've always thought you a bit more optomistic.  I sort of expet them to enjoy a couple championships at least.lol  It's pretty darn realistic to expect our last four classes to be in the run each year.   Some...like fifth year players(gentry/hall types) might end up with a few rings...but I really do figure each class in next couple of years will have a chance to set new career win marks one or two games better then the most recent grads enjoyed...which was a record of sorts best I remember.  I firmly believe last years defense (our's and LSU's) were the best I've ever witnessed in person in my life and I remember all of them from early 70's on.  I've never seen a unit function together like ours did this year.  I really expect next years bunch to be a step back...but just barely.  We've got trained stallions everywhere in our locker room.  When you pay close attention to special teams it's real easy to see some can't miss big time players waiting their turns.  These fellas train day in day out with the best and they'll be ready.  Next years lines could rival any we've put on the field ...and I really expect an even more dynamic offense with the deep ball re-appearing ala-carter style.  We are the top program two out of last three seasons for a reason.  The plan worked...and there are not many that can take us down now.  Reminds me of my childhood when we always knew we would win big...and get the best recruits.  The 70's domination we enjoyed appears to be repeating itself...finally!!!
