SEC Veteran QBs lead teams in different ways

Quote
"I don't think you can name a best quarterback in the SEC until the season's over," Mallett said. "I had an okay year last year. The expectations of me are high. They're even higher for myself."

Quote
"Ryan is a little bit different in the fact that he's got the big, strong arm," the third-year Arkansas coach said. "We actually have to tone him down a little bit and worry about making some touch throws, not throwing the one ball all the time, not throwing the fast ball all the time, which he's done a great job of. I've been very proud how he's worked at that. He can throw the ball very, very deep. We can buy some time and throw it deep.

"But they're both very, very good football players."

Quote
"Greg, he's a great leader on our team," Ingram said. "He's a great game manager. He keeps the huddle calm, keeps everybody intact, settled down. He makes great decisions as far as the game goes. He's a great quarterback. I'm glad to be playing in the same huddle with him."

This is going to be a throw down in Fayetteville Sep. 25th. Arkansas has Georgia prior week at Ga.
this is our first SEC opponent then we host the Gators.

I think Mallett gave a very classy answer, and I agree.

Mallett will be great but! He cannot throw from his back. If he stands he will be fine but if Bama keeps him on his back he can't throw and get all those yds. (i.e. Ga. last year he was scoring on no defense.) We shall see. RTR!

I see a repeat of last year, with one change:  Bama will be rushing the passer relentlessly.  Last year we had cover pressure, this year he won't have time to think.

exactly. Especially if Marcell's situation clears up like it should. We will blitz all night.
