A lot has taken place behind the scenes since the crimson tide won the CFP national championship in
Atlanta during the month of January. The end of a football season is like clicking on reset on a time
clock, both players and coaches have been running helter skelter trying to find a place to call home for
    at least the next season.

Alabama has been one of the most active teams since the season ended, undoubtedly being busier than
most, there has been what we refer to as a slight shake-up in the teams coaching staff, with a few
notable exits and additions. It’ll be almost impossible to list out and speak on all the coaching staff
movements so far with the little time that we have, so for clarity, we will speak a little bit on coaches
that either moved on or moved into Alabama.

Alabama lost coaches to both professional teams and college football team, they lost Brian Daboll to the
Buffalo Bills of the AFC east alongside a few analysts from the team. Jeremy Pruitt left the team to
become the new head coach of a rival, the Tennessee volunteers, while Derrick Hansley and Karl Dunbar
left to serve as the Defensive back and Defensive line coach of the Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh
Steelers respectively. A few of the staff members moved on to other gigs elsewhere, but we won’t be
    going into that yet.

Alabama football didn’t just lose members of the coaching staff, we brought in a few replacements such
as Pete Goulding from UTSA to serve as Mike Linebacker Coach, John Kastis from Penn State to serve as
Wide receivers coach, amongst others. A few members of the coaching staff switched roles, moving up
the pecking order to fill in the gap made by coaches moving to other teams. Mike Locksley moved up the
pecking order from Wide receivers coach to Offensive Coordinator, Josh Tupoi now serves a dual role as
the defensive coordinator along with outside linebacker coach.

In conclusion, there is a lot to look forward to from the coaching staff going into the new season, all we
can do now is Roll Tide!
